Iran: pressure

The blog Arshama3's blog published a list with names of 113 imprisoned journalists and bloggers with their background.



The site persian2english published an interview which the brother of the imprisoned unionmember Reza Shahabi had with Voice of America.
Since June 2010 Shahabi is in Evinprison and December 4 he went into a dry hungerstrike to protest his case.
Shahabi is transferred to the prison hospital.

The journalist Mehran Faraji member of the youth section of the National Trust Party and social reporter for newspapers Hamshahri, Etemad Melli and Kargozaran has been arrested.
He is the 7th journalist who has been arrested last week.

Journalist Reyhaneh Tabatabaei who works for Sina News Agency, Chelcheragh magazine and the daily Shargh has been arrested in her house. During the disputed elections she was abroad pursuing her education.
Keyvan Mehregan, Ahmad Gholami, Farzaneh Roustaei, Ali Khodabaskh and Amir Hadi Anvari are other detained journalists who worked for the Shargh newspaper.

According to Daneshoo news 13 students of Shar Kord university have been summoned to the disciplinary committee of the university. They welcomed studentactivist Mohammad Haydarzadeh after his release and wanted to organize a homecomingparty for him and they intended to name Azar 16, Student Day in Iran , ‘Mohammad Haydarzadeh Day’ in his honor.
