Iran: arbitrary

According to an entry in the blog “Justice for Hossein Derakhshan: The Official Blog of Hossein Derakhshan’s Family and Friends For Dissemination of Information and Pursuit of His Situation,is Hossein Derakhshan after 2 days returned to prison.
A source confirmed this to International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran.
He was allowed a short leave on an unprecedented bail of $1.5 million.
Derakhshan has been sentenced to 19,5 years in prison,a 5 year ban from membership in political parties and activities in the media and returning received funds in the amount of 30,750 Euro, US$2,900, and 200 British Pounds.
He was charged with cooperation with hostile states, propagating against the regime, propagation in favor of anti-revolutionary groups, insulting sanctities, and implementation and management of obscene websites.

The blogger and humanrightsactivist Hossein Ronaghi-Maleki (a.k.a Babak Khorramdin) was arrested along with his brother Hassan Ronaghi-Maleki on December 13th, 2009 in the city of Malekan near Tabriz and transferred to Evin prison. In Evinprison Hassan was tortured in front of his brother to force him to make a confession.
After a month Hassan was released on a bail of $80.000.
In oktober Hossein Ronaghi was sentenced to 15 years in prison. HRHI made an account on her website of the illegal and arbitrary actions of the judicial authorities with regards to Hossein Ronaghi-Maleki

December 11th is Reza Shahabi, the imprisoned member of Vahed Bus Workers Syndicate transferred to the hospital.
December 4th he started a dry hungerstrike and his physical condition is very bad.
