Iran: arrests

The Iranian government has stepped up the arrests ahead of the February 14 march.
In the past days were Kourosh Zaiem,member of the National Front, student activist Peyman Aref, Hossein Mahmoudi, Abbas Shojaei members of the Islamic National Front and Maziar Khosravi, journalist,Nezhat Amirabadian, journalist, arrested.
Also Mohammad Hossein Sharifzadegan, senior member of Mousavis campagne, Omid Mohaddes, journalist and blogger, Meysam Mohammadi, writer and researcher, Taghi Rahmani, one of Karroubi’s advisors, Fariba Ebtehaj, head of Ebtekar’s office, Sadreddin Beheshti , son of Mousavi's advisor Alireza Beheshti, Mostafa Mirahmadizadeh, professor, and Saleh Noghrehkar, head of the law committee in Mousavi’s campaign, were arrested by the security forces.
February 11 the son of the former governor of Gorgan, Mohammad Hossein Mahimani has been arrested.
Yadollah Eslami editor of a banned newspaper and Mojtaba Shayesteh member of Islamic Front were arrested.

In Saghez started the prisoners Soltan Zargar and Bahaeddin Shojaei a hungerstrike to protest the refusal to follow-up on their cases since February 4thb.
