Iran: arrests

Journalist Zhila Baniyaghoob who was arrested after the elections along with her husband Bahman Amouyi, wrote a post on zhila.org(FA) to mark the anniversary of their arrest.
Baniyaghoob was released on bail, her husband is still in prison.

The political prisoner Ali Afshar has been held in solitary confinement in Orumiehprison.
He was arrested three months ago near Bukan. During his arrest, he was shot five times and was seriously injured.
Due to the injuries became paralyzed in both arms.
He is charged with cooperating with a Kurdish party, “Enmity against God” and “Corrupter on Earth”.

Sam Mahmoudi Saraei, editor for the book services of Sharg Newspaper was February 14th summoned to the Ministry of Information.
He was arrested and is in jail since.
The reasons for his arrest are unknown.


In the past days were political and civil activists Amir Gol, Fereydoun Seydi, Abdolmehdi Afzali and the Bahai Saman Ostaovar, Saman Golshani, Mina Ehrari and Peyman Panah arrested.
In Babol were three political studentactivists arrested. Their names are: Mahmoud Shagerd Dabagh, Amir Hossein Rostami and Ehsan Parvin.
