Iran: more and again

In TheAustralian was a report that the deathsentence for Sakineh Ashtiani is uphold because the Supreme Court has said it will not reopen the case. This means she will be executed.
According to Paul Kujawsky,LA Middle Eastern Policy Examiner from the Examiner is the world too preoccupied with other events, so this was not noticed.He calls for attention in this case.

In a letter to the head of the judiciary Larijani wrote Seyed Hashem Khastar,a prisoner at Vakilabadprison in Mashhad the conditions in prison.
The number of inmates inside the prison is now more than four times the normal capacity of the facility.
He also wrote that in August 2010 in one day 63 prisoners were executed.
Originally, this prison has been built for 2,500 prisoners.
Currently there are 13,000 prisoners.

Political prisoners in Rejaishar prison announced Sunday to start a hungerstrike in solidarity with Fakhrosadat Mohtashamipour.
In a statement the prisoners say that they strike in protest of “summoning, arrests, threats and pressures placed on the families of political prisoners, as well as pressures and illegal and inhumane restrictions forced on prisoners.
Among the signatories are: unionleader Mansour Osanlou, Rasoul Bedaghi of the Iranian Teacher’s Association, journalists Issa Saharkhiz and Reza Rafii, political activists Heshmatollah Tabarzadi and Behrouz Javid, and studentactivists Ali Ajami and Majid Tavakoli.
