The son of Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, imprisoned head of Iran Democratic Party, told the International Human Rights Campaign in Iran, that a non-political prisoner, who friended his father, was beaten with electric batons and banned from leaving prison on furlough for the new year celebrations by revolutionary guards.

President Ahmadinejad said Monday that nuclear installations in Iran are safer then those in Japan. He also said that the technology used in the nuclear plants in Fukushima is 50 years old, but the technology used in the Iranian plants is brand new.
He spoke at a pressconference in Tehran.

Blogger Hossein Derakhshan has after his prisonleave on March 20, returned to Evinprison March 26.
HRHI reported that 2 days later he was allowed on leave again and then returned to prison on April 3rd.
Derakhshan is serving a prisonsentence of 19,5 years.

IRNA reported today that Iran arrested a group of 8 terrorists in province Kurdistan.Two people were killed.
According to PressTV four Iranian policeagents were killed in different clashes with PEJAK. Also four terrorists have been killed or injured.
