Hardline cleric and head of Guardian Council Jannati, who until recently was an Ahmadinejad supporter, warned the president, without referring to his name, that people who do not follow the path of the Leader, loose popular support.
He also said that the unexpected crisis is over and that calmth has returned.

The EU is set to blacklist the German-Iranian Bank EIH, because it is involved in the Islamic republic’s secret nuclear weapons’ programme.
Last year the Wall Street Journal wrote that EIH bank had done more than a billion dollars of business on behalf of firms subject to US, UN and EU sanctions.

The "eye-for-an-eye-punishment that was scheduled for today, has been postponed.
According to ISNA, authorities decided late Friday night to postpone the punishment.
A reason was not given.
Humanrights organizations all over the world have urged the Iranian authorities to halt the inhumane punishment of dripping acid in the eyes.
