Iran: impact

Website naftnews.net writes that Friday morning a fire broke out in a oilpipeline from National Iranian South Oil Company near Shush Danyal town in Khuzestan province.
The pipeline transports oil from Galanar oilfield in Lorestan province to the oilrefinery of Karun Company in Ahvaz city.
A crisisteam is installed to deal with the fire.

The former head of the construction branch of revolutionary guards, Khatam Anbiya, Brig. Gen. Rostam Ghassemi, who is listed on the blacklist of Western countries and UN, is after long difficulties appointed by president Ahmadinejad to minister of oil.
Many see this as a further weakening of the president.

After one year after the arrest of Farshid Abdollahi, one of the expelled students of Azad University Tehran, Imam Hussein Complex, there is still no news of him.

He was arrested in August 2010 and his parents didn’t know that he was arrested for the first four months, until when he was permitted to telephone them.
