Amnesty International asks urgent action for the release of at least 9 sick Iranian prisoners.
Their names are Isa Saharkhiz, Mohammad Sadigh Kaboudvand, Ayatollah Boroujerdi, Zahra Jabbari, Koroush Kouhkan, Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, Ahmad Zeidabadi, Saeed Matinpour, and Heshmatollah Tabarzadi
With exception of Saeed Matinpour, Mohammad Sadigh Kaboudvand, and Ayatollah Boroujerdi, all these prisoners were arrested and imprisoned after the 2009 Iranian Presidential election.
In recent weeks various reports have been published on the deteriorating physical condition of several political prisoners.

Pastor Vahik Abrahamian is still detained,even though he was cleared of all charges three months ago.
He was arrested in February 2010 and spent 53 days in isolation until he was released in April.
In September 2010 he was arrested again and is incarcerated since.
His wife Sonia was arrested along with 2 other people, but were released in April 2011, after paying a great amount of money. They spent 40 days in isolation in the Security barracks in Hamadan, where they were tortured.
The health of Abrahamian is bad and it is being told tat the authorities want him to confess to spying for Israel and the US.
Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani,is sentenced to death and the reason that he was not executed till now is that authorities cannot proof he was technical a moslem before he converted to christianity.
