Iran: wet

The shelling by Iran of Kurdish PJAK camps in northern Iraq has made more then 200 Kurdish families homeless.
NGO's say that some 230 families have fled their villages.
Without aid they have little chance to survive, almost all left their livelihoods behind.
At least 3 Kurds, including a child have been killed by the bombardments.

According to Khorasan Daily were 21 men and women arrested at a mixed party. The party was held in the Sajad Blvd in Mashhad. The Moral Police arrested 14 women and 7 men for dancing in a very indecent manner.
The arrested were taken to a detention center and will be referred to judicial officials.

In the cities Tehran, Karaj, Esfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad, Yasouj, and Larestan Bahais have been arrested.
How many people were arrested is not known.
The names of the arrested Baha'is were not made public.
Fars newsagency reported July 31 that the arrested Baha'is belonged to an "international corruption network" engaged in "promoting and propagandizing the Baha'i cult through sex appeal and homosexuality.

Poet Jamal Khani, teacher Farhad Vakilinia and student Naeim Najafi were arrested in Kermanshah.They were active in Kurdish cultural and literal fields.
The reason for the arrests is unclear.

A group of boys and girls with waterballoons and waterpistols held a waterfight in “Ab-o-Atash” Park, in Abbas Abad.
The executive in charge of the Park indicated his regret over what he called inability to stop the “immoral behaviors against norms. They finally decided to shut down the water to the park to stop the group.
