Reuters reports that actor Sean Penn engaged to support the release of the two Americans last Wednesday. The vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela told that Penn flew to Venezuela and told president Chavez, who spoke to president Ahmadinejad about it.

An official of the US Foreign Office says that they are hopeful to get information about the disappearance of Robert Levinson four years ago.
Iranian authorities told that they have no knowledge about his whereabouts.
Levinson disappeared March 9, 2007, while he was on a businesstrip to the island Kish.
