In sari, province Mazandaran is a man hanged on October 2.
The not named man was convicted for rape and robbery.
It is not known whether the man was hanged in public.

The reason for his arrest is unknown.
He was the weekly editor of magazines, “Birami”, “Avab Baharestan”, “Daryay-e Jonoub”, and “Salam Jonoub”.

The Prosecutor of Gatvand in the province of Khuzestan said that the flogging of 3 bankrobbers of National Gatvand Bankrobbery, will take place in public.
The flogging is held September 28 at the scene of the crime.

The lawyer of the last week released Americans was barred from leaving the country. The passport of lawyer Masoud Shafii was taken at the airport when he was boarding for a flight to USA.
Earlier this week Shafii was arrested and interrogated for hours, but he was later released.
The released Americans told in an interview that Iran was using them as hostages in its power struggle with the West.

On October 1st visited ayatollah Boroujerdi the prisonclinic for his heartproblems, but prison authorities refused to provide medical care.
Boroujerdi is detained since 2006 and had an existing medical
heartcondition.
The medical staff asked for his immediate transfer to a hospital outside the prison.
However, the prison officials have refused to comply with this request.
