Iran: joyless

September 29th, two men were hanged in prison of the city of Zabol. A third man was hospitalized for suffering a heartattack.
The men were sentenced to death for keeping 69 kilograms and 500 grams of heroin. It wasn’t mentioned when the exceution of the hospitalized prisoner will be carry out.

The latest victim of Irans crackdown on mixed parties is a young woman in Mashhad who jumped of a balcony on the sixth floor, to escape the moralpolice, who raided the party.
The late ayatollah Khomeini said that islam is no fun and joy. Since then, authorities have worked hard to banish laughter, playfulness, or other such behavior from public life through warnings, but also through punishments.

In the city of Isfahan were September 29, twenty bahais arrested.
Anisa Daneshgar, Arman Rahimi, Ataullah Daneshgar, Darab Yazdani, Dariush Dastpiesh, Dina Safarpour (9 years-old), Fardoas Niki, Farid Eshtiagh, Farzad Rohani, Fazel Behnam, Heshmatullah Niki, Laleh Namjoian, Lava Daneshgar, Parisa Rahmani, Roheia Hakimon, Saha Behnam, Samira Ghaneh, Shahla Sanaei, Sohela Davardan, Sohela Vahedian, Taj Almalok Janamian.
Dina Safarpour, Shahla Sanaei, Fardoas Niki, Saha Behnam, Sohela Davardan, Samira Ghaneh, Sohela Vahedian and Taj Almalok Janamian were released October 1st.
The others remained in customer on an unknown location.
