Iran: much more

October 24 were 3 prisoners hanged in Iran.
IRNA reported that in Ardebil one man has been hanged for carrying and selling of 488,25 grams heroin.
Fars reported that in the prison of Jam a man Ali Rafeipour has been hanged. He was convicted for the murder of a securityofficer in 2003. How old he was at the time of the offence is not mentioned.
The Deutsche Welle quoted Fars that reported that in Khoramdareh a man has been hanged.
The man, R. Sh. was sentenced to death for murdering a securityguard on October 8th.

The Iranian parliament impeached the economy minister for lax at the investigation of the bankscandal.
He has to appear before parliament within 10 days.
September began a probe into allegations that a private group via forged letters of credit approved by half a dozen Iranian banks, totally appr. $1.6 miljard amassed.

Prisonauthorities told the father of Zanyar Moradi, a Kurdish political prisoner who is sentenced to death, and is detained in Rajaei Shahr prison that he would not need the clothes because his son will be executed before winter.
According to them the verdict has been upheld in appeal. Neither his son or his lawyer are informed.

The Director of Mir Hossein Mousavi’s presidential campaign in Mazandaran,Ali Tari , who is sentenced in appeal to 6 months in prison, is in Mati Kola prison in Babol.
At arrival in prison he was was transferred 2 days to the prison’s Quarantine Ward, before being transferred to Ward 2 of Mati Kola prison, where murderers and dangerous criminals are held.
He has been denied basic prisoncondition.

Blogger Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, who who was refusing to accept any medication or medical treatment at the prison infirmary has now been transferred to Tehran Hasheminejad hospital.
