Iran: fact

The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran said that Iran should stop misrepresenting the records about the humanrightssituation in Iran.
Larijani,the head of the High Council for Human Rights of Iran, said to the United Nations presscorps on November 16 that oppositionleaders Mir Hussein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi have been charged with incitement to violence, amongst other crimes. Larijani also said that humanrightslawyer Abdolfattah Soltani is detained because of connections to terrorist groups, although he presented no evidence to support his claim.

Peyman Aref's wife told in an interview with International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran that the reason for the arrest of her husband within days after his release from Evinprison, must be a personal one.
He has told about the flogging and named the people involved. She also said that he told her he is in ward 350 of Evin prison and that bail is set to $20.000.

Iran media has doubts whether the dead of Ahmad Rezai, the son of Mohsen Rezai was a suicide.Dubai police said that he was found by hotel staff and that one of Rezai’s wrists was slit.
The official newspaper IRNA,the semiofficial Fars agency and website Tabnak, wrote about his death as suspicious. Newsagency Mehr writes that Rezai died from electrical shock.
