Iran: action

The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran launched a campaign to help getting political prisoner and humanrights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh released from prison.
The project released a video called “Free Sotoudeh Now".
There is also a website, with various video's, and a slideshow.
Sotoudeh was arrested in 2010 and was convicted in appeals court to 6 years in prison and a 10 years ban to work as a lawyer.

Journalist Farshad Ghorbanpour who December 1st was arrested at his home, contacted his wife and said he is being transferred to Ward 350 of Evinprison.
In 2007 he was arrested and released against a $260,000 bail.
Hij was convicted to one year in prison on charges of acting against national security by propagation against the regime and also was charged with illicit sources due to his cooperation with the news website Roozonline .
Ghorbanpour was involved with various publications including HamMihan, Kargozaran, Farhikhtegan, Shahrvand Emrooz, and Mehrnameh.

EU is sceptical about new sanctions on Iranian oil.
Fear grows that the embargo could damage its own economy without doing much to undercut to Iran's oil revenues.
It is possible that even the slightest increase of Iranian oilprices have a bad influence on European stockmarkets.
Iran, worlds fifth-largest oil exporter warned Sunday that oil prices could raise to $250 a barrel.
