Iran: reported

The religious blogger of Pezhak-e Khamoush and member of Qom Hezbeh Mosharkat (Participation Front) Ahmad Reza Ahmadpour who was arrested and in prison since July 19, 2010 has been transferred to the prison in Ahwaz. His prisonsentence from 3 years in prison has been increased to 5 years in prison.

A prominent reformist leader reported on website Kaleme his concerns on the safety and health of Mousavi and Karroubi.
Saeed Hajjarian also praised the resistance of political activist Mostafa Tajzadeh in a note to his 55th birthday.
Tajzadeh is member of the Central Council of Islamic Iran Participation Front (Mosharekat) and from Islamic Revolution Mujahedin Organisation of Iran (MIRO), he was Interior Minister during the government of president Khatami. With 6 other prominent reformists he wrote a letter with complaints about the role of IRGC and other commanders during the 2009 elections. Since then he is in solitary confinement for 1 ½ years at Quarantine Ward from Evin prison.
In recent weeks reports have been published about the deteriorating health of Mousavi and Karroubi. They were placed under house arrest since in mid-February.

International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) and the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) announced that Ebrahim Madadi member of the board of the busdriversunion Vahed Syndicate has been released from prison. He was in prison on false charges of endangering national security.
The Vahed Bus Drivers Syndicate of Tehran and the Suburbs made a statement.
