Iran: list

In three different provinces were January 4 eight people hanged.
In Azadi (Liberty) Square of Kermanshah,were "Alireza Ahamdi" (48), Sadegh Eskandari (33) and Sasan Basami (36) hanged in public. They were convicted of armed robbery of a bank in August 2011.
In the prison of Semnan is A. T. hanged, he was convicted for drugstrafficking.
In the prison of Kerman were "Mohammad A.", "Ali N." and "Ahmad T" hanged for keeping and trafficking drugs.
In the prison of Bam were Alireza B." and "Hamzeh M." hanged, they were convicted for trafficking opium and heroin.

The Iran Human Rights Documentation Center published a chart with names of the (39) people who were executed since 1 January 2012.

Since January 2010 the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran reported regularly about secret executions in Vakilabad prison in Mashhad.
They published a White Paper with backgrounds, names and executed prisoners in other prisons.

Political activist and former professor at Allamaeh Tabatabai University Sohrab Razzaghi, has been sentenced by judge Selavati in Tehran to 20 year's in prison and a fine of 550.000 euro.Razzaghi was charged with establishing a group aimed at toppling the regime and acting against national security, providing confidential information to outsiders and receiving money from international organizations.
Razzaghi denies all charges. Currently he lives in The Netherlands and says that since he has not reported to Evin Prison to serve out his sentence, the government will confiscate the $200,000 bail he put up for his release.

The political prisoner Saeed Saki has been transferred from Karounprison to Dezfulprison. A source in Ahwaz told that the inmates in Ahwaz are treated like animals.
The prison is heavily overcrowded and the hygienical conditions are bad.
Two persons sleep in one bed and one on the floor. The inmates are abused and assaulted by prisonofficials.

The brother of last year at the funeral of her father deceased activist Haleh Sahabi, , says that police finally must end the cover-up and release the recordings from the events on the cemetary.
Authorities say that Sahabi's death is due to heartfailure of emotion, but eyewitnesses say that there was assault and battery on the cemetary.


In Iran there are childoffenders, still on death row.

Children are being hanged to death.
A child will be hanged to death.
