Iran: more

January 11th have 2 men been hanged in the prison of Tehran.
The men, Fazlollah and Jalal were convicted for rape. Fazlollah was also sentenced to 173 lashes for an immoral relationship.
Shargh reported that 3 Afghans were also sentenced to death and that the executionorder was confirmed by the head of the judicial department.
Newspaper Aftab reported that 9 prisoners will be excuted in Shiraz in the coming days.

Student activist and member of Iran National Front, Peyman Aref, has been summoned to the office the office of the prosecutor branch 2 in Evinprison.
If this court summons leads to Peyman Aref’s arrest, this would be the fourth imprisonment for him since the 2009 Iranian Presidential election.
