Iran: more

Iran has made arrests over the assassination of the nuclear scientist. The speaker for parliament, Ali Larijani Monday said that investigators had discovered clues and that people were arrested and they were being interrogated. He did not mention names or numbers.
Iran suspects the US and Israeli intelligence services for the murder.

Topdiplomates from Russia and USA have met in Moscow to discuss the situations around Iran and Syria. No further details are known.
In recent years Russia has backed four rounds of United Nations sanctions against Iran, but till now has so far declined to back further international sanctions.

Iran plans to launch a satellite in February during the "ten-day dawn ceremony" from 1-11 February marking the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
In november the Iranian defense minister announced that during this Iranian calendaryear 3 satellites will be launched named Fajr (Dawn), Navid (Promise), and Tolou (Sunrise).
