Iran: act

Reuters reports that traders from Ukraine no longer use Iranian ships to transport grain.
This, because of difficulties with payments following European Union sanctions on Iran.
About 400,000 tonnes of grain largely from Ukraine and Russia is held up on about 10 ships stranded outside Iranian ports because of payment problems and trade disruption following the EU sanctions.

Iran launched succesful a new satellite.
The satellite is placed into an orbit between 250 and 370 kilometers above Earth.
Officials say that the satellite is collecting data on weather conditions and monitoring natural disasters on Earth.
It is the third, small domestically produced satellite that Iran says it has launched in recent years.

The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran said that Iran should stop immediately the widespread campaign of intimidation against journalists and their family members.
The Campaign is also concerned about videotaping of false confessions and the possibility of politically motivated broadcasts ahead of the 2 March 2012 parliamentary elections.
In the past month were at least 9 journalists arrested, among them Parastoo Dokouhaki, Marzieh Rassouli, and Sahamoddin Bouraghani.

According to a report on the website of the Green Movement, agents of the IRGC interrogated online a BBCreporter of BBC-Persia .
The sister of the reporter is detained in Evinprison in the Ward controled by IRGC. The reporter was contacted by e-mail and they told the BBC reporter that if she talked to them, her sister would be released.
After the BBC reporter consulted with the head of BBC’s Persian service she spoke 40 minutes over the Internet with IRGC security officers.
