Iran: all is fine

January 28th, 2 men are hanged in secret in Lakanprison in Rasht.
Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran reports that the man's names are Ayoub Kalantari, 28 and Mohammad-Reza Sharifi, 40, from Baluchistan.

Friday Iran banned its citizens from travelling to Syria by road.
The ban came after the abduction of nearly 30 Iranians in Syria.
Each year hundreds of thousands of Iranian pilgrims travel to Syria to visit Sayyeda Zeinab, a revered Shiite shrine near Damascus.

Ayatollah Khamenei said during the Friday Prayers in Tehran that the country is not in crisis.
He also said that the international sanctions are actually a benefit, in so far as they force Iran to concentrate on its domestic potential.
He added that regardless of the sanctions, Iran will not retreat from its nuclear program.

February 3rd, security agents arrested Bahairesidents in Shiraz.
Reported are that among them Nima Dehqan, Mezhdeh Falah, Mazhgan `Amadi, Sam Jarberi, Sina Sarikhani, Bijan Falah and Zhinous Fana’iyan and several other Bahai were arrested.
