The German foreign ministry summoned the ambassador of Iran to demand the immediate release of pastor Youcef Nadarkhani.
Nadarkhani is sentenced to death for his refusal to return to islam.
According to reports, the instructions for his execution were sent to the prison in Rasht.

The mother of political prisoner Mehdi Mahmoudian who is imprisoned in Rajayi Shahr Prison in Karaj wrote a letter to the Head of Prison Organization Gholam-Hossein Ismaili and requested that the condition of political prisoners be seen to.
Early February Mahmoudian was abused by soldiers when he was transferred from Evinprison to Rajaee Shahr prison.
Mahmoudian was arrested in September 2011 and is sentenced to 5 years in prison.
