Farsnews reported that the deathsentence of American Iranian Amir Mirza Hekmati, has been withdrawn by the Supreme Court. His case will be tried again.
Hekmati was sentenced to death in January on charges of spying for the CIA.

On the 57th day of his hungerstrike Mehdi Khazali announced that he also refuses to drink water to protest the lack of responsibility by the authorities of Iran.
January 9th Khazali was forcefully arrested.

More then 10 female students of Iran University of Science and Technology (Elm va Sanat) were suspended for violating the Islamic dress code.
Daneshoonews reported that also between 10 and 20 students were suspended since the beginning of the winter term.
Last term the basijcommander suspended 15 female students fot not attending a session on the topic of hijab.

Several plainclothed agents attacked the hospitalroom of journalist Isa Saharkhiz and his wife in the heartcare unit of the Shariatihospital.
The agents were abusive and created a very tense and uneasy atmosphere for the visitors and also for other patients in the hospital unit.
Saharkhiz was due to this tension transferred to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital.

On March 2, the head of High Center for the Employers Trade Association,said in an interview with ILNA that the unemploymentrate in recent months was risen by 31%.
In the interview he emphasized that someone who works for two hours per week can not be considered employed.
He criticized the gimmicks used to report the unemployment rate less than its actual number.
