Iran: more

The US FBI announced a reward of up to $1 million for information leading directly to the location and safe return of former FBI agent Robert A. Levinson, who disappeared from Iran's Kish Island five years ago.
The American foreign minister said that his return "remains a priority for the United States".
Last year his family received a video-tape which showed that he is still alive.

Amnesty International started a urgent action for Kurdish prisoners Zaniar Moradi and Loghman Moradi,who are in imminent danger of execution.
They are convicted for enmity against god, moharebeh, and corruption on earth.
They also are convicted for the murder of the son of a senior cleric in Marivan, Kordestan province, on 4 July 2009. Also they are convicted of participating in armed activities with Komala, a Kurdish opposition group.
They wrote in a letter that they were forced to “confess” to the allegations of murder after being tortured and threatened with rape.

Iranian authorities in Ahwaz threaten to execute five members of one family for the alleged murder of a security agent and the wounding of another one at the unrests in Ahwaz in 2011.
The brothers Abdelrahman, Taha, and Jamsheed Haidari and their nephews Mansour Haidari and Ameer Moawya were arrested in 2011. Their family says that they were tortured to confess.

It is reported that in Gohardasztprison in Karaj another prisoner committed suicide.
Hamid-Reza Biabani, 38, was in limbo for 14 years in Gohardasht Prison.
Recently he was transferred from cellblock 7 to Hosseineih [Prayer Hall] in Hall 11, Cellblock 4. He committed suicide on Sunday March 4.
Hosseineh is one of the most deplorable halls in prison. Prisoners are crammed in and are even forced to sleep on their sides on the ground and cannot even turn to their other side at night.
There are also bugs and lice.

Children are being hanged to death.
