Iran: blood July 13, 2012



July 12 was in Shiraz Safieh Ghafoori hanged.
She was convicted for murder, but it is said that she is innocent and had confessed to the murder under pressure.

In the prison of Qazvin were July 12 three men hanged.
A. Kh. (60) and G. Kh. (32) were convicted for keeping 4940 grams of heroin, and Gh. h. (49) was convicted for keeping of 4900 grams of opium and 900 grams of an opium product that is called "sookhteh".

Political prisoner and Deputy Director of Defenders of Human Rights Center Narges Mohammadi is transferred to Valiasr Hospital in Zanjan.
Her physical condition has deteriorated and her doctors said as a result of her acute neurological disorder leading to muscle paralysis.
Narges Mohammadi is serving a prisonsentence of seven years.

A former general of the revolutionary guards accused Supreme Leader Khamenei of of having blood on his hands over the brutal crackdown on the opposition, and described government claims that its nuclear programme is entirely peaceful as a “sheer lie”.
In a letter to oppositionleader Mohammad Nourizad he tells about political dissent within the ranks of the elite force in charge of the nuclear programme.
Only identified by his initials, the general says that he and a number of his colleagues were threatened with execution for disloyalty and then, after a series of secret courts-martial, were dismissed.

Imprisoned journalist Massoud Bastani , who is sentenced to six years in prison is in secret transported from Evinprison to RajaiShahrprison, and his wife, journalist Mahsa Amrabadi were denied to meet.
Last month his wife started serving her one year prisonsentence.
