Several media report that 14 prisoners from Evinprison were flogged. Most of them were imprisoned after the elections of 2009.

Reporters Without Borders is relieved to learn that a number of political prisoners, among them 7 journalists and netizens have been released from prison.
Yet they were treated like criminals and deprived of their freedom, some of them for more than two years, for covering government repression and corruption. They demand the immediate and unconditional release of all the other journalists and netizens who have been jailed unjustly.
