Iranian media report that cleric Hassan Sane'i, the head of 15 of Khordad Foundation, raised the bounty for the killing of Salman Rushdie with $500.000 to tot $ 3.3 million.
Since 1989 there is a fatwa on him for publishing the book Satanic Verses.Rushdie, 65, spent a decade in hiding after Iran's spiritual leader, the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, issued the 1989 fatwa against him for his book.

Iranian blogger Hossein Ronaghi Maleki who had been arrested in East-Azerbaijan by security forces has been moved to isolation in the prison of Tabriz.
