Iran: more September 17th 2012

The head of IRGC, Major General Mohammad-Ali Jafari, says Iran is honored to share its experiences with the Syrian government.
According to PressTV he told reporters on Sunday that Iran condemns foreign countries for providing military support for the insurgents in Syria.
He further said that IRGC is fully equipped with the latest weapons and is ready to defend the Islamic Revolution against all types of soft or semi-hard war threats.

According to Farsnews Iranian scientists developed and produced a new type of medication for the treatment of heart failure.
The President of Isfahan Pharmaceutical Company says that the heart or brain vessels are blocked by blood clots after a heart attack and the medicine can dissolve the blood clots and open the blood vessels immediately.
He also said that the drug, named ATP, is not a chemical compound but an enzyme which exists in the body of everyone.

Six weeks after the heavy earthquakes that rocked Azerbaijan province, the quake survivors remain without shelter. The winter is coming and heavy rain is causing enormous problems.
Officials in the cities of Varzeghan and Haris admitted that the survivors of the earthquake continue to live in tents while rainfall during the past few days has brought about even more damages to their very little property.
Electricity is needed to use the heating appliances, the region’s electric cables are not adequate and new cables must be installed.

Human Rights And Democracy Activists in Iran reports that political prisoner Karim Bakhshi Yali-dehi, 45, a Balochi who is imprisoned in Zahedan has been placed in solitary confinement and was tortured for the past 10 days.
His family members have not been able to meet or contact him.Yali-dehi was arrested in 2010 and is in limbo since.
