Iran: money October 2, 2012

Humanrightslawyer Mohammad Ali Dadkhah has been summoned by Evinprison to serve his prisonsentence of 9 years.
He is the founder of Centre for Human Rights Defenders (CHRD) and was sentenced in July last year to 9years in prison and a ban to practice law and teach for 10 years.
Amnesty International urged Iran to release Dadkhah immediately.

Iran's currency has plunged further against the U.S. dollar. October 2 the rial was trading at about 37,500 rial for one dollar, down from 34,200 rial for 1 dollar at closuretime on October 1.

A report in The Times says that Iran is spending billions of dollars to support the Syrian regime.
This suppor4 caused a rift between ayatollah Ali Khamenei and information chief Qassem Suleimani, due to the failure of the latter to end the Syrian conflict in favor of Assad.
Members of the Syrian opposition told The Times that Iran has paid the salaries of the Syrian regime troops for months, in addition to providing Assad with weapons and logistic support.
