Iran: defend December 12, 2012

Incarcerated journalist Mahsa Amrababdi was arrested in 2009 and 2010 and sentenced to 1 year in prison without suspension and 4 years of suspended prison.
May 11 2012 she was summoned to serve her 1 year prisonterm in Evinprison.
On the occasion of the 200th day of her incarceration her mother wrote a letter.

Nasrin Sotoudeh has written a letter explaining the reasons that led to her 49 days of hungerstrike to protest the travel ban on her 12-year-old daughter.
She expresses hope that family punishments will be eliminated from the list of government policies of threats and pressure.

The pressure on Iranian lawyers is increasing.As a result arrested activists cannot find a lawyer. They are dependent of state-appointed lawyers who make little attempts to defend.

Fars newsagency wrote that the deputy head of the justice department said that Iran indictedt 18 American officials for  involvement in crimes against Iran.He added that charges against the Americans include involvement in terrorist attacks.
The men were not named and it is unknown if that any of the men is present in Iran.
