Iran: pressure December 10, 2012

Kaleme reports that the security agents in charge of the house arrest of Mir Hossein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavard, have refused responsibility for providing food for the couple for some time now. Instead they made the family responsible for their food supply, this while the family members have no means to verify the quantity and quality of the food that is in actuality provided to their parents. They hand over the food to the security agents at the gate, who then supposedly deliver the food to their detained parents.
Since November they had no contact to their parents.

Reports say that there are 3200 prisoners in Ghezzel Hessar prison in Karaj.
1000 prisoners are on death row. The number of prisoners is increasing each day and prisonrights are violated.
