Iran: more February 2, 2013

Two years since the arrest of Iranian physicist and student at American university of Texas in Austin (UT Austin) Omid Kokabee, students  from the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) have released a short film about his situation.
The website freedomforomid.org has collected several petitions and open letters which are circulating on Kokabee’s behalf.
Kokabee was arrested at the airport on charges of “communicating with a hostile government” . He was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

January 29 are in Marivan, province Kurdistan 6 Kurds , Khaled Ahmadi, Zana Moini, Saman Mahmoudi, Davoud Ghasimi and Mohammad Kohnehposhi were  arrested. Their houses were raided and personal belongings and computers were confiscated.
The reason for the arrest is unknown and they were brought to an unknown place.
Studentactivists Shaho Mahmoudi and Dana Lenjabadi were summoned to the intelligence office.

Questions have risen if the launch of a monkey in space, really did happen.
Before and after pictures of the monkey appear different. The monkey’s fur is drastically darker upon return, and it’s missing a distinctive red mole above its right eye.
Telegraph.uk wrote that either the original monkey died after the rocket landed or that the experiment didn’t go that well.
Or it didn't happen at all.
