Iran: more February 25th 2013

The Netherlands stil discriminates Iranian Dutch in certain sectors of university study.
Although the Supreme Court in December ruled that this is discrimination, Iranian Dutch who want to study or work in certain academic sectors still has to ask for a permit.
Nederlands blocks with nine master studies Iranian students and scholars.They have to apply for an exemption from the Minister of Education. The resolution of the United Nations, "Iran Sanctions Regulations" (2008), gives Iran harder knowledge about nuclear weapons. The courts in The Hague described the scheme as discriminatory.

Experts of UN investigate a ship in Yemen which was intercepted in January in Persian Gulf.
The ship transported surface-to-air missiles, Katyusha rockets, explosives, ammunition and surveillance systems. The coastguard of Yemen says that Jihan II came from Iran. Tehran denies any involvement.

Iranian media reported on February that according to a report by the coroner’s office, in the past 10 months, 1517 people have been killed in workplace accidents. Five people are killed each day, a 14-percent increase over similar statistics last year.

An Iranian delegation has arrived in Almaty in Kazachstan for nuclear talks.
Starting February 26 the nuclear talks with counterparts from Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia, and the United States will be resumed.
