Iran: halt

The students in Shiraz are protesting since end of February against the school’s chancellor Mohammed Hadi Sedeghi, a former Revolutionary Guard Corps commander, who was personally appointed by Ahmedinejad.
They're not only protesting about the bad foodquality in the schools cafeteria, but also over believed manipulations of Sadeghi at the internal election of the university council, rejecting 108 student candidates, which resulted in banning them from entering the race.
Flyers, distributed among the students are claiming that Sadeghi embezzled approximately $22 million following the sale of a university building.
March 4 the students demonstrated against "gender apartheid” among them.
There are reports that 12 students are gearrested.
On the site Youtube are video's of the demonstrations.
