Iran: consequences

In the prison of the city of Semnan is December 13 a man hanged.
The man, M.Sh. was according to IRNA convicted for attempting to murder a woman.

The article tells the story in which a man in 2003 threw acid in the face of a female student which disfigured and blinded her.



The First Deputy Judiciary Chief of Iran says there are documents proving that Great Britain and USA backed the Jundullah group with important information. In June abducted the group 16 policeagents in Sistan-e-Baluchestan province and they would not free the kidnapped officers unless Tehran agrees to release 200 Jundullah members from Iranian prisons.
When the negotiations had no results, they killed the policeagents.

The site International Herald Times writes that an Iranian newspaper reported on Saturday that a militant group (Ikhwan al-Radwan, or Brothers of Heaven in Arabic) Wednesday attacked the office of Saudi Arabia's state-owned airline with Molotov-cocktails.
The group said in a statement that the reason for the attack was Saudi Arabia's support for an Arab peace initiative.
The initiative offers Israel normal relations with all Arab countries if it withdraws from lands occupied in 1967.


Iranian carmaker Saipa unveiled its new carmodel.
The name is Miniator and the company plans to manufacture an annual 200,000 units of the car.
It averages 7 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers and the price will not exceed $10,000.
The factory is seeking to establish a foothold for the car in markets in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and Latin America.
