Provincial Appeals Court in Orumieh has upheld the deathsentence against Hossein Khezri.
He was sentenced to death with the allegations of action against the regime and cooperation with a Kurdish party.
After his arrest last year he was harshly interrogated for 3 months, resulting in the loss of 25% of his visual acuity.

In Sarevan en Zahedan, Sistan-e-Baluchestan province were 15 sunni teachers arrested. Reportedly they were transferred to unknown places.
Four of them are named: Behroz Bahouz, son of Pirbakhsh and teacher on Davazdah Ordibehsht elementary school in Saravan, Alireza Chakeri,son of Shahdollah, principle of Bagherkhan elementary school in Saravan, Hamidreza Chakeri son of Shahdollah, teacher in Saravan, Abdolrahman Ravanbakhsh, computer engineer and employee of Saravan Education Department.

Maryam Rostampour,27 and Marzieh Amirizadeh, 30 were imprisoned in ward 209 of Evinprison for five months because they converted to christianity.
August 9 they were taken into the court for interrogation and arraignment under the charge of apostasy.
They were interrogated by judge Haddad about their religious beliefs and ordered to recant their faith in writing.
The deputy prosecutor gave the women until the first day of trial to renounce their christianity. De women declined, and noted that as humans they had a basic right to their religious beliefs.
Judge Haddad announced that a verdict would be rendered in this case, but he failed to identify the judge or the process that would lead to the verdict.
The two defendants could have legal representation for the remainder of the proceedings.
During their prisonment in Evinprison, they have been kept in solitary confinement and repeatedly subjected to excessively long interrogation sessions while blindfolded.

At the blog NIAC-insight an blog is posted about the article in the reformist daily Nowruz, speakingorgan for the Islamic Iran Participation Front, of the fantasyplan of Ahmadinejad to arrest all reformist leaders in Iran.
Ahmadinejad submitted this plan at Supreme National Security Council,but the plan was rejected.
On this list were the names of Mir-Hossein Mousavi, Mehdi Karroubi, Ayatollah Mousavi-Khoiniha, Ali Akbar Mohtashamipour, Morteza Alviri, Mohammad Reza Khatami, and one of Rafsanjani’s children.


Esha Momeni who was imprisoned last year for 25 days and was not allowed to leave the country, has returned to Los Angeles this week.
Last Tuesday she arrived at Los Angeles airport.
She was investigating woman's rights in Iran to write her thesis when she was arrested on the airport.
Later she was released at a bail of $200.000.
