Iran: questions

The Guardian published an open letter by journalist Akbar Ganji and also undersigned by Noam Chomsky and more than 250 journalists, writers, scholars and other intellectuals addressed to secretary-general of UN Ban Ki-Moon, calling to form a commission to investigate the electionprocess and pressuring the Iranian government to nullify fraudulent results and hold democratic, competitive and fair elections under the auspices of the UN.

In Rotterdam (The Netherlands ) has Tariq Ramadan been asked about his role as a presenter on an Iranian state-funded television programm from PressTV.
Ramadan is a controversial advisor to the mayor of Rotterdam on issues of multi-culturalism and guest lecturer at Rotterdam's Erasmus university.
Earlier this year he was negatively in the news for his negative comments on homosexuals.
