Iran: next

Kurdish political prisoner Ehsan (Esmail) Fattahian (28) is sentenced to death and will be executed Wednesday November 11th.
The announcement of his upcoming execution was passed November 6 to his lawyer and November 8 he went on hungerstrike to protest his deathsentence.
In 2008 he was convicted to 10 years in prison in exile after a trial in which he was denied access to a lawyer.
In appeal he was in January 2009 sentenced to death for "moharebe", waging war against god and membership to a forbidden Kurdish party.
On the site of Human Rights Activists in Iran is a letter written by him.
The letter finishes with the conclusion that with his death, the Kurdish question will not go away.
