Iran: opinions

The family of Neda Agha Soltan accuses Iranian authorities of killing her.
Iranian authorities say that foreign governments and the opposition have killed her in an attempt to smear the government.
Her father also said that he and his wife were severely beaten by security forces when they tried to take part in a a demonstration last month.
He also denied recent reports in an Iranian newspaper suggesting that the parents were paid by an American television network, which wanted to make a film about their daughter.

Amerika has appealed to Iran to help locate already 1000 days missing Robert Levinson. In a statement the White House wrote that she calls on the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to assist in providing any information on Mr. Levinson’s whereabouts and in ensuring his prompt and safe return to his family.
Levinson, a retired FBIagent, disappeared on March 7, 2007 during a businesstrip on Kish Island.
The spokesman of Iranian judiciary said in February 2009 that Iran has no person with that name in custody.PressTV writes that the remarks on Levinson comes at the same time as a complaint by an Iranian NGO about the illegitimate arrests ofarresteren in de USA van Baktash Fatahi, Shahrzad Amir-Qolikhani, Ali Amir-Nazmi, and Hassan Saeed-Keshari in USA.
