Totally more then 100 prisoners are on hungerstrike in Iran.
59 prisoners in Rajaei Shahr launched a hungerstrike to protest against the suppression of the Iranian people and the conditions in prison.
70 prisoners in Orumiehprison, mostly Kurds and Azeri Turks, launched a hungerstrike to protest a ban on prison visits, the lack of access to phone contacts, and the restriction on contacts with other prisoners.

The childrens right activist and Bahai Sahar Biramabadi has been arrested in Kerman. The charge is “Preaching the Baha’i faith under the cover of engaging in humanitarian activities”.
She has been transferred to Bam.
