Iran: choose May 4, 2012

Today Iran holds the second round of parliamentary elections to decide 65 seats still outstanding in its 290-member legislature.
The new parliament, will like the old parliament, mainly conservative, but how that conservative force is configured, is not clear yet. The very little support for President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the current parliament will be further eroded.
Important is the battle for the position of parliamentary speaker between Ali Larijani and Hadad Adel.
