Iran: more May 3, 2012

16 months ago detained pastor Farshid Fathi, 33 has been sentenced to 6 years in prison. According to a family friend he was in solitary confinement and has been beaten.
The prisonsentence of an other pastor Behnam Irani was extended with 5 years, short for his release in October 2011. Reports say that he is in dire physical condition.
Both appealed their sentences.

A professor of Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering University in Shiraz told ISNA that Iran started making its own antivirussoftware.
The software is being developed by Shiraz Computer Emergency Response Team of APA (Academic Protection and Awareness) of Iran. The APA is founded in 2007 and in 2010 started the work work on the domestic-made antivirus.

The head of General Inspection Office of Iran said the office has submitted a $100 million bankfraud to the judiciary.
This case has no connection to the $3billion embezzelment trial. Mehrnews reported that the news was announced at a seminar in Bandar Abbas.
