Studentactivist and journalist Peyman Aref was suspended once again and not permitted to continue studying.
Before he was sentenced to 74 lashes after being convicted of insulting the President.

The humanrightscommittee of studentorganization Tahkim-e Vahdat issued a second report to the UN’s special rapporteur on human rights for Iran..
This 2nd report examines student rights violations in the past nine months.
Among other things it says that while some jailed student activists have been released after serving out their sentences, 50 students remain behind bars.
Among them are Bahareh Hedayat, 10 years in prison, Ziaeddin Nabaviand Majid Dori, who are exiled to one of the worst prisons in the south of the country and Majid Tavakoli, who is in Karaj’s Rejaishahr Prison.

After the suicidebombing in Burgas, Bulgaria on a bus with Israeli tourists, Iran is accused by Israel. Iranian statemedia claimed that the accusations were ridiculous.
Bulgarian authorities started an investigation to determine who was responsible. At the attack were six people killed.

Newsagency SABA in Yemen reported that members of a spyring, led by a former IRGCcommander were arrested in Yemen.
SABA said the spy cell had operated in Yemen as well as in the Horn of Africa and that it had kept an operations center in Sana’a, Yemen’s capital. An Interior Ministry official said all those detained were Yemenis.
