Iran: more, September 7th, 2012

Political prisoner Gholamreza Khosravi Savadjani has been sentenced to death and there are indications that he will be executed in the coming days.
Familiemembers are told that the excutiondate will be on September 10th.
He was arrested in 2007 on charges of “cooperating with Sima-ye Azadi Television (the Mojahedin-e Khalgh Organization TV station),” for which the Rafsanjan Revolutionary Court sentenced him to three years in prison and three more years’ suspended prison term. Following objection by the prosecutor, his sentence was changed to six years in prison. While serving his six-year prison sentence, his case file was transferred to Tehran through the illegal intervention of Judge Heydarifar, where he was eventually sentenced to death.

Iran intensifies the support to the Assadregime by sending 150 senior elite revolutionary guards to Syria.Western intelligence officials say that president Ahmadinejad personally sanctioned the dispatch.
In addition, Iran has shipped hundreds of tons of military equipment, including guns, rockets, and shells, to Syria through the air corridor that has been established between Damascus and Tehran.

Humanrightsactivist and founder of Committee of Human Rights Reporters, Shiva Nazar Ahari presented herself at Evinprison to serve her 4 years prisonsentence. She was told to return on Saturday.
She has been sentenced to 4 years in prison, exile to Rajaï Shahr Prison in Karaj and 74 lashes.

Political activist and journalist Issa Saharkhiz started a hungerstrike on August 28th to protest he was transferred back to Evin Prison, and began refusing medicine on September 4.
His son says that if something happens to his father Khamenei himself is responsible.


In Iran there are childoffenders, still on death row.

Children are being hanged to death.

A child will be hanged to death.
