Iran: more October 8th, 2012

5 people were hanged in Shiraz on October 7th.
Iranian judiciary in Fars Province, reported that two of the prisoners were hanged publicly in different squares of Shiraz, while the three others were hanged inside Adelabad prison.
The names are A. P. convicted of carrying 185 kilograms of heroin and 72 kilograms of crack A. K. convicted of participation in selling 39 kilos and 800 grams of opium and carrying 9 kilos and 960 grams of opium, M. A. convicted of carrying 4 kilograms of heroin A. S. convicted of keeping and selling 29 kilograms of Marijuana and more than 14 kilograms of opium, and A. Z. convicted of keeping 2 kilograms of heroin.

In the night of Sunday to Monday a blast occurred near Dogubayazit, a town in Agri province near the Iranian border,on a pipeline carrying Iranian natural gas to Turkey.
The Kurdish PKK has claimed responsibility for repeated attacks on pipelines.
Repairs had begun and it was not immediately clear when the gas flow will resume.

Iranian oilplatforms were attacked by cyber criminals in recent weeks. The atttacks have been repelled. Mohammad Reza Golshani, the head of information technology from Iranian Offshore Oil Company, told Mehrnews that cyber attacks had targeted the offshore platforms' information networks.
