Iran: further December 3rd 2012


The husband of Nasrin Sotoudeh wrote on his Facebookpage that her physical condition has become so weak on the 47th day of her hungerstrike that he doesn't know she will be able to stand on her own by next week’s visit.
Cellmates told him that they are very worried and said that in the last two days her body is rejecting liquids.

Mehrnews reported that Iran suspended the deathsentence against Iranian-Canadian programmer Saeed Malekpour. He was arrested in december 2008 while visiting his ailing father.
He was sentenced to death for "designing and moderating adult-content websites" and "insulting the sanctity of Islam."

Ahmadinejad criticized the new rules for presidential elections.The new rules, which were passed by parliament state that candidates are to have eight years of ministerial experience while also having references from 300 political figures attesting to their leadership qualities.
According to him these rules are against the constitution and these new rules are aiming appointing a president without the need for an election.
Some said that Ahmadinejad shuffled some members from cabinets and officestaff as prepping for the presidential election.
Esfandiar Rahim Mashai, chief of presidential office is transfered to the position of chief of the secretary of Non-Aligned Movement office.Hassan Mousavi, chief of Tourism and Cultural Heritage will replace him and another aide, Mohammad Sharif Malekzadeh, will head the Cultural Heritage Organization.
