Iran: groups January 3rd 2013

According to unofficial reports were on December 27 in Gheselhesarprison in Karaj at least six Salafi Kurds hanged.
The men, Bahram Ahmadi, Asghar Rahimi, Behnam Rahimi, Mohammad Zaher Bahmani, Keyvan Zand Karimi and Houshiar Mohammadi were convicted for "membership in Salafi groups" and "participation in terrorist acts, such as the assassination of a Friday prayer Imam in Sanandaj in 2009".
Several other prisoners allegedly belonging to the same group are in danger of execution.

Supporter of Green Movement and political prisoner Ahmad Shujai is held in security ward 209 of Evinprison for more than 150 days, although his interrogation has been completed.He was involved in the disclosure of the recording that documented the torture of the wife of Saeed Emami.
