Zanyar Moradi and Loqman Moradi who are sentenced to death are in appeal also sentenced to death and their execution is imminent.
The only person who can stop this execution is the Fridays Prayer Leader in Marivan.

Human Rights Watch said in a statement that Iranian security agents since 2011 in Khuzestan province, 65 Arab residents have arrested.
The Deputy Middle East director of Human Rights Watch urges Iran to immediately divulge the reasons for the arrests, give detainees access to family members and lawyers and bring all detainees promptly before a judge.

Radio Zamaneh writes that according to Youssef Azizi Banitaraf arrests occurred in Shoosh, Ahvaz and Hamidieh where security forces are telling elders of the tribes in the region to bring people to the voting booths. A number of youth writing slogans on public walls calling for a boycott of the coming parliamentary elections, triggered the arrests.
Banitaraf said that the arrested were taken to an unknown place and they were not allowed to contact their familymembers. Familymembers of the deceased were not allowed holding any commemoration services for their kin.

Blogger, publisher and physician Mehdi Khazali is sentenced to 14 years in prison, ten years in exile, and ninety lashes.
He is the son of Ayatollah Khazali, a influential cleric and member of the Assembly of Experts,who is a staunch supporter of Iran’s ruling elite.
Since he was arrested on 9 January 2012 Khazali went on hunger strike to protest his detention.

According to International Campaign for Humanrights in Iran Abolfazal Tabarzadi, 24 has been in a mental hospital suffering of severe paranoia and depression.
He is a student and nephew of political activist Heshmatollah Tabarzadi.
He was sentenced in appeal to 9 months in prison for acting against national security and contacts to foreign media.
Since October 2011 he is serving his sentence in Karounprison in Ahwaz.

Iranian websites reported that Saudi Arabia blocked the website of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Reuters reports that traders from Ukraine no longer use Iranian ships to transport grain.
This, because of difficulties with payments following European Union sanctions on Iran.
About 400,000 tonnes of grain largely from Ukraine and Russia is held up on about 10 ships stranded outside Iranian ports because of payment problems and trade disruption following the EU sanctions.

Iran launched succesful a new satellite.
The satellite is placed into an orbit between 250 and 370 kilometers above Earth.
Officials say that the satellite is collecting data on weather conditions and monitoring natural disasters on Earth.
It is the third, small domestically produced satellite that Iran says it has launched in recent years.

According to a report on the website of the Green Movement, agents of the IRGC interrogated online a BBCreporter of BBC-Persia .
The sister of the reporter is detained in Evinprison in the Ward controled by IRGC. The reporter was contacted by e-mail and they told the BBC reporter that if she talked to them, her sister would be released.

On the courtyard of the policestation in Karaj is a man hanged on January 31st.
According to IRNA the man, H. M. drove over a policeagent in 2009 and killed him.
Humanrightsorganization "Human rights and democracy activists in Iran" says that the man was named Hassan Armin(Mafi) and was a kickboxcoach and paralyzed on both legs due to the beatings in prison.

According to reports, the cells of all political prisoners in Ward 350 of Evinprison were raided and searched while all political prisoners were transferred to the prison yard despite the fact that it was snowing.
They began chanting slogans “Ya Hossein… Mir Hossein” , “Mahmoud the Traitor” and “Death to the Dictator” and singing “Ey Iran” “Yareh Dabestani” and other songs, leading to reaction by women prisoners in Evin’s women’s ward 350 who joined in the slogans, forcing the agents to eventually leave the ward.

Last week webdesigners and bloggers Saeed Malekpour, Vahid Asghari, and Hossein Ronaghi Maleki were interrogated again by agents of Cyber Intelligence Unit of the Revolutionary Guards.They also put great pressure on the prisoners and demanded that they make false televised confessions.
Vahid Ashgar has been transferred to solitary confinement on January 31st, after being sentenced to death by judge Selavati. He is in since 2008 and is in bad psychological condition due to torture.
Hossein Ronaghi Maleki has been convicted to 15 years in prison and is in very bad health.
Malekpour is sentenced to death and his sentence is reinstated by the Supreme Court.
January 31st, the IRGC said in a statement to welcome the deathsentence.

Agents of the prosecutors office came to the house of his father, formed reformist member of parliament Mohammad Naeimipour and filmed every individual present.
Like his father, Hossein is member of Islamic Iran Participation Front (Mosharekat).
In 2009 he was campaignmember of Mousavi.

Student activist and journalist Mohsen Sanatipour from Ferdowsi University in Mashhad and secretary of Allameh Group of the university, is sentenced to one year in prison.

In December 2010 they were sentenced to death for the charge of moharebeh (enmity with God) and the murder of the son of Marivan’s Friday Imam.

Reports to the ACLJ say that Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani is still alive, but he is under great pressure of the Chief Justice of the Gilan Provincial Court to convert to islam.
Nadarkhani insists that he is a christian and has never been a moslim.

Website Advar reported that January 22 Abdollah Momeni was taken to the infirmery of Evinprison with severe stomachpains. He refused to stay because he was assaulted and abused by the staff.
Other prisoners say that after some hours he was transferred back to the infirmary due to severe stomach pains.No one has seen or heard from him since then, suggesting that he might have been transferred to a different location.
His family is very concerned, because he had a short telephonecall with them, before.

Iranian border guards have reportedly shot dead six Pakistanis and wounded two others after they strayed across Iran’s border.

The head of Justice in Bushehr announced that the perpetrators of the incident in the town of Abpakhsh will be publicly hanged.
The Public Relations Office of the Bushehr Judiciary said that the case is pursued by the court in Bushehr and were they sentenced to public hanging which sentence is confirmed by the Supreme Court.

The dinner was one egg, one potatoes and one piece of bread. This has been replaced by 15g halva and a small, thin piece of factory bread .
